اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

Brief Description
Durood-e-Ibrahimi (الصلاة الإبراهيمية) is the most authentic and prominent form of sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Unlike other salutations compiled by later scholars, the wording of Durood-e-Ibrahimi was taught directly by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) himself to his companions. It forms an integral part of the daily prayers (Salah/Namaz), recited during the final sitting (Tashahhud).

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
"Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace."

Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila reported: Ka'b bin Ujrah met me and said, "Shall I not give you a present I got from the Prophet (ﷺ)?" 'Abdur-Rahman said, "Yes, give it to me." I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! We know how to greet you, but how to invoke Allah for you?"
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Say: O Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family..." (Durood-e-Ibrahimi).
